Helping people in southeast Michigan receive all their benefits
DETROIT, Mich. — For nearly 50 years, Accounting Aid Society has provided free tax services for low-income people in southeast Michigan. The goal is to help improve people's lives by making sure they receive all the tax benefits they have coming to them. The organization has helped return more than $455 million in tax refunds to individuals and small businesses in the Metro Detroit area.

Ford Fund and Ford employees are proud to support Accounting Aid Society. Each year, the Ford Volunteer Corps enlists dozens of Ford employees to help the organization assist residents, many at the two Ford Resource and Engagement Centers in Detroit.
