Ford Driving Dreams Latina Entrepreneurs Gives an Additional $25,000 in Grants

Ford and Ford Fund award five grantees an additional $5,000 to help businesses

DEARBORN, Mich. — Created to help Latina Entrepreneurs impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Ford Driving Dreams Latina Entrepreneurs continues to help the 75 Latina entrepreneurs through a video competition, resulting in an additional $5,000 grant for five businesses.

The Ford Driving Dreams Latina Entrepreneurs initiative was implemented in collaboration with eMerge Americas and the National Development Council. In total, Ford and Ford Fund are investing more than $400,000 in grants and resources in Latina small business owners through this program.

Together, the selected grantees employ more than 300 people in 53 cities. The grantees—as well as any entrepreneur nationwide—also benefitted from a series of free virtual business training webinars to help strengthen their businesses.

The Ford Driving Dreams Latina Entrepreneurs initiative adds to Ford Fund’s long-standing commitment to Latino communities across the U.S. and Latin America.
