The organization is accepting donations like boxes and tape to pre-package the produce, bags, gloves, masks, toiletries & health supplies. Houston, TX – The Houston Food Bank is seeking volunteers to help with emergency food service during this unprecedented time and looking for those willing to host drives for funds and food. San Antonio, TX – The San Antonio Food Bank is in full operations as the city and county enter a period of “shelter from home.” The Food Bank’s network of food pantries and mobile food distributions remains fully operational and open to the public for help. The food bank is currently seeking volunteers who can help in a variety of ways. Volunteer opportunities range from our sorting room, warehouse, garden and farm areas, our community kitchen, and even our off-site community kitchen at Haven for Hope.
