Ford Driving Dreams students participate in 9th annual R2L NextGen program

Washington, D.C. — The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) welcomed 103 high school students to the nation's capital to participate in the 9th annual R2L (Ready to Lead) NextGen program. Students from across the country had an opportunity to learn about the federal government, meet with lawmakers, visit historic sites and develop a deeper understanding of how they can affect positive change in their communities. For the fifth year, Ford Fund partnered with CHCI to support participation by select students from the Ford Driving Dreams program, which has reached more than 200,000 students with motivational programs that encourage them to stay in school and continue their education.
